Henry's bath bucket

This plastic bucket (which is a storage box from IKEA) is perfect for a sitting baby to take a bath in.
I put it in front of the bath thinking that Freddy (27 months) could go in the big bath and Henry (5.5 months) could go in the bucket.

But who can resist a bath in a bucket?

  1. That is adorable! I can`t put Shion in the big bath yet with Noah because Japanese baths are just too deep so Shion stays in the shower with me {all one room} until I can hop in the bath with Noah and Shion. I think in another couple of months though Shion will be able to go in while I shower beside them...

They both love the water! Your two too huh?

    1. haha, the juggling of two children at bath time can be quite a logistical challenge!
The both love baths so much and I'll admit there have been days when Freddy has has 3 baths...

    1. Hi Grace,
Now there's the thing you see because hubby and I used our birthpool as a 'jacuzzi' for nearly 6 months - it's like an adult version of the bucket!

  3. Great idea! Our newest baby is 2 month old...(preemie) and is used to taking a bath in a small-ish storage container (Tiny Tub) as that's what was used in the NICU. But, she's outgrown it! The sink is usually full...ahem. This would be a great "stepping stone" to the big tub.

    1. Yes, I think it will be perfect for that. Also I have started to put the shower hose in the tub too (just trickling) and it makes a great toy to play with.
I hope your baby loves it!

  4. I love it! We were using the Spa Baby Tub which is absolutely great until she started standing. She refuses to sit so basically she is showering. And I pour the water - not practical at all. I have been looking for the bigger version - something like yours but can't find anything else. No tub in our home so it doesn't help either x

  5. I used the same with my boy (25 mo now), we moved to Canada and our bathroom had tub, baby boy never was in a big tub and he scared, so we found this way lees scary for the boy. And worked! Now he plays with his big brother in the big tub.
