A week of kindness

I've always been drawn to the idea of doing random acts of kindness around the neighbourhood and when I heard that my friend Leanna from All Done Monkey was looking for people to post about their random acts I jumped at the chance.

Did you see the post last week?  Tallulah and her children sellotaped coins to a parking meter which I thought was just genius!

Secretly I was hoping to start a new yarn bombing mission to decorate Paris in beautiful knitted post box covers and such but there are just never enough hours in the day.

We did manage to do a few different things this week with the theme of kindness and you can read all about them here!

  1. You have had a busy week.
One of my friend's brother runs Old MacDonalds
Farm in Zambia where they care for children who have either been on the streets or who are orphans. I wondered whether they might be a suitable recipient for a cultural package.

    1. Hi Sarah Elizabeth! Oh yes that sounds wonderful! I'll happily send them a package - thank you so much for the suggestion.

  2. How nice !!!!
Have you found some disadvantaged kids to send the WCS packages ??

    1. Sure have Mymy, 5 packages to be sent to various orphanages and children's homes. I have to say that it is giving me even more pleasure than sending a package to a reciprocating family - let's do this more often :)
